Flavescence dorée is a vine quarantine disease transmitted by an insect vector (the leafhopper Scaphoideus titanus). Hot water treatment enables to to sanitize the propagating plant material (grafts, rootstocks, plants) by eliminating the phytoplasma responsible, without using plant protection products.
