VINITECH SIFEL INNOVATION TROPHIES
2020 AWARD-WINNERS
On Monday 2 November, the panel of experts for the 2020 Innovation Trophies announced their results: 10 companies were awarded trophies, with a total of 2 GOLD TROPHIES, 2 SILVER TROPHIES, 6 BRONZE TROPHIES and 7 SPECIAL MENTIONS.
New solutions and achievements were highlighted that respond to the environmental, economic and social challenges of the future. The 2020 Innovation Trophies produced “a diverse and original vintage”, praised by Christophe Riou and Pierre Gaillard. Highlights included the introduction of plants through varietal innovation and the vine nursery’s collective and sustainable commitment. Winners also included winery and vinification innovations, as well as machine process adaptations for more responsible practices.
Even under exceptional circumstances, the quality of submissions for these Trophies once again reflected the dynamism of our manufacturers, who are ready to take on any challenge.

VINITECH-SIFEL VIRTUAL 1-3 December 2020
The all-online event
for the wine, arboriculture and vegetable production industries
With the same ambition of gathering the entire community of wine, arboriculture and vegetable production industries for a 3-day event, VINITECH-SIFEL–while not being held in person this year–has adapted and innovated by creating VINITECH-SIFEL VIRTUAL on 1-3 December.
At this all-digital event, professionals will have the opportunity to meet suppliers and distributors in a “DIGITAL HALL”, source new suppliers, discover their latest innovations, make connections, and target contacts via the “NETWORKING” area. VINITECH-SIFEL VIRTUAL also has an “AUDITORIUM” where it can offer some fifty live conferences, scientific sessions and forums.
All of these features are available for “visitor” participants free of charge. The virtual platform will open on 16 November.

VINITECH-SIFEL 2020:
A responsible decision and a digital event launched
to accompany the sector towards 2021
Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux, the organiser of VINITECH-SIFEL, has made the decision to postpone to 2022 (29 November to 1 December) the ‘physical’ edition of the trade show initially due to run from 1 to 3 December this year at the Bordeaux Exhibition Centre.
In the meantime, however, the trade show team has opted to launch a digital event, ‘VINITECH-SIFEL VIRTUAL’, which will run from 1 to 3 December 2020. This unprecedented version will offer professionals a whole range of new solutions: live conferences to share expertise, a networking tool and a platform devoted to the promotion of exhibiting companies, etc.

Vinitech-Sifel: The global event for Innovation
850 exhibitors and over 45,000 visitors are expected for the 21st edition of Vinitech-Sifel on 20, 21 and 22 November. In light of the current technical, economic, environmental and societal challenges, this international biennial is THE place to be for professionals in the wine-growing, arboricultural and market- gardening industries: this unmissable event spanning 65,000 m2, showcases global innovation, acts as a meeting place for exchanges and acts as a business catalyst.
Designed by and for professionals, Vinitech-Sifel 2018 uses thematic exhibition hubs and visit trails to help visitors explore the offerings.
