GENERAL TERMS OF SALE - 2020 VINITECH SIFEL FAIR (Version date: 15/06/2020)

The general conditions of sale below apply to unit sales for orders made over the internet, but also to the purchase of access tickets made on site at the entrance to the show. Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux SAS has hired the company Leni to handle Internet sales and manage the corresponding data.

Prior to any transaction, customers must expressly acknowledge their receipt and unconditional acceptance of these general terms of sale by clicking "I accept the general terms of sale." By clicking that button the customer furthermore warrants that he or she has legal capacity to enter such commitment or has been granted authorization by a person with such capacity.

CEB would like to stress that it is important for Internet users to fully understand these general terms of sale.

Access passes are offered on a strictly personal basis. They are sold subject to availability, and are valid for use from 1 to 3 December 2020 at the Vinitech-Sifel 2020 as specified on the badge.

1- PRICES

The prices indicated on the site are given in euros with all taxes included. All orders are payable in euros.
CEB reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. These modifications will not however affect orders that have been paid in advance.

Certain special offers may only be accessible for a limited time and/or on certain sales channels.

Prices differ depending on the dates reserved.
Prices are flat rate. No price reduction will be applied to reflect non-participation in any of the elements of the program.

Students and local authorities may obtain reduced rates by showing credentials when picking up their badges. Badges must be paid for in advance as described on the website.

2- THE VINITECH-SIFEL FAIR

The following groups will be admitted free of charge:

  • Journalists upon presentation of a press card, on validation of the Press service of Congrès et Exposition de Bordeaux ;
  • Members of Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux on presentation of their 2020 card and holder of the UFI (Union des Foires Internationales) card for operators responsible for editing badges at the entrance to the show ;
  • Foreign Visitors; Proof will be automatically requested by the hostesses in charge of editing badges at the entrance to the show (passport or identity card issued abroad)Visiteurs en possession d’une carte d’invitation avec code personnel donnant accès à la gratuité
  • Visitors who have received an e-mail with a registration code giving access to free
  • School groups on prior request to the organizer

3- PAYMENT

For online reservations, payment may be made by bank card (Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard), bank or postal cheque (to the order of CEB), or bank transfer. Before payment, a list of acceptable bank cards will be shown.
Any payment by credit card will be debited upon final approval of the order.

CEB will refuse any method of payment not provided for under these general terms of sale.

4- SECURITY OF PAYMENTS AND PERSONAL DATA

The website includes a security system.
The information collected is processed by computer to permit contracts to be executed. The information shall be retained up to the legal time limits applicable to Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux for purposes of its tax and social security obligations. They may also be used for commercial purposes in subsequent operations by the Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux direct marketing department (dataprotection@bordeaux-expo.com) for a period of six years counted from the date when the information was collected. The data recipient is Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux SAS. Under the provisions of the "computing and civil liberties" law of January 6, 1978 as amended and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Customers have access, rectification, elimination, limitation, portability and opposition rights for information concerning them; they may exercise these rights by writing to CEB SAS, Délégué à la protection des données [Data Protection Officer], rue Jean Samazeuilh, CS 20088 – 33070 Bordeaux Cedex, or dpo@bordeaux-expo.com. If you have submitted a complaint to Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux and are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés [National Commission for Computing and Civil Liberties], which oversees compliance with obligations regarding personal data.

5- CONFIRMATION AND VALIDATION OF ONLINE ORDERS

Badge orders submitted online are definitively guaranteed only upon receipt of your registration confirmation email, which will include links to access your personal data. Léni's automatic registration systems are considered valid proof of the nature, content and date of the reservation. A reservation confirmed by the customer by clicking on the "validate" button after payment constitutes the customer's final and irrevocable commitment to the reservation.

No right of withdrawal: “Under the provisions of Article L 221-28 12° of the Consumer Code, tickets are not subject to a right of withdrawal" except as provided under Article 8 of these general terms of sale.

6- OBTAINING BADGES

After full receipt of the order payment, the customer receives an order confirmation at the email address indicated in the file. An electronic link will allow him to print his badge.
This electronic badge should not be purchased from a stranger, you would have no guarantee of its validity.

7- BADGE TERMS OF USE (ELECTRONIC OR A4 FORMAT)

- To be valid, the electronic badge must be printed on an inkjet or laser printer, in its entirety in portrait mode, on a white A4 sheet, blank on both sides and without changing the print size. Each ticket purchased corresponds to a ticket. No other medium (electronic, pc screen, portable screen, etc.) is accepted. Any partially printed, soiled, damaged or illegible electronic ticket will not be accepted and will be considered invalid.

- Each electronic badge is provided with a unique barcode. This badge allows the access of only one person, once a day to the Vinitech-Sifel salon between December 1 and 3, 2020. It is scanned at the entrance of the salon and only the first person to present the badge will be admitted. All other copies of the same electronic badge will be refused. Keep your electronic badge in a safe place, no objection can be made to illegal reproduction even without your knowledge.

PLEASE NOTE: The organizer is under no obligation to verify the identity of a person presenting a badge at access control, nor the authenticity of the badge presented. For this reason, if a badge holder is denied access to the event, he or she may not claim any right to a refund of the price paid.

The illicit sale of tickets to a sporting event or live performance is punishable by law, as provided under Article 313-6-2 of the Criminal Code, with a fine of €15,000, and €30,000 for repeat offenses.

For any complaints in respect of issues encountered by the buyer during the purchase process (from ordering to printing), it will be incumbent upon the buyer to provide proof of the act of

purchase. CEB reserves the right to decide whether to act on the requests submitted. CEB likewise declines all responsibility in case of buyer negligence, or in the event of the loss, theft or fraudulent use of tickets.

8- CANCELLATION AND REFUND

No badge will be refunded except in the event of cancellation by the event organizer. In this case, only the buyer may be reimbursed by credit to his bank account for the amount indicated on the receipt and on his written request to CEB SAS, rue Jean Samazeuilh, CS 20088 - 33070 Bordeaux Cedex.

10- ACCESS TO PARKING AREA

Access to the Exhibition Centre parking area is free of charge.

The rules of the Highway Code apply in the parking area. Drivers may operate their vehicles and circulate therein at their sole and entire responsibility, and at their own risk. Any damage caused to parking facility installations shall be the responsibility of the drivers of the vehicles involved. They shall have exclusive liability for any bodily injury, material damages, and intangible damages caused to third parties. Vehicles must circulate and maneuver at moderate speeds.

Users must proceed in the direction indicated by the traffic arrows and comply with the rules specified by the signage in place.

However, if a large number of users are present, agents managing traffic flows may be required to give drivers instructions contrary to that signage. In such case, drivers must still remain vigilant and ensure that their maneuvers are safe for other users.

11- APPLICABLE LAW - DISPUTES

The ticket sales covered under these general terms of sale are subject to French law. In case of dispute, the district court of Bordeaux shall have sole jurisdiction.
